China Glaze Magnetix collection 1 and 2

It has been quite awhile since my last entry on this blog. ^^
Apart from OPI, China glaze is the next brand that I like.
well, on this entry im going to write on magnetix collection 1 and 2.

china glaze has release their own magnetic nail polish line earlier this year.
their first magnetic line, 'Magnetix' collection was released in feb 2012. it consists 6 gorgeous colors with 3 magnetic patterns that we can choose on.
their second magnetic line, 'Magnetix II' collection is released in this month in USA, so most probably it needs awhile before it reaches singapore. ^^

below are the colors of the 'Magnetix' collection and the patterns that you can create.
attraction
it is a dark grey color with shiny silver chunky shimmer. it is very thick on this one. it is very good since you only need to apply it once but it is not easy to apply too. nevertheless it is a great color!

cling on
it is a silver olive green color. when the magnet is applied, it becomes very dark green which is not expected since the color from the bottle is much more lighter.

drawn to you
it is silvery purple color and when the magnet is applied, there is a pink and red sparkle that balance well with the silvery color that has been produced by the magnet

instant chemistry
it is a dark vampy purple. you will only need 1 coat to cover all.there is not much contrast on the magnetic color though

pull me close
it is a blue tone grey, the contrast between the grey and black is superb! 2 coat to make the color more dramatic. :)

you move me
it is a dark brown with a little more red tone once the magnet has been applied.

magnetix magnet pattern tools

below are the colors available in magnetix II and the pattern that you can create.
bond-tastic
it is an orangey-tan color. the color need to be applied twice in order the effect to show up.

con-fused
it is green, dark green. but from my point of view the effect is not dramatic enough. :)

get-charged
it is a purple color actually but when the magnet is applied, it becomes somewhere in between dark purple and grey!

gold fusion
It is gold color but when the magnet is applied, it doesnt show up, it just blend in with the color.

positively in love
it is a magenta color which is common colors in all brand of nail polish.

sparks will fly
it is a blue colors which i feel that nothing special for it.

magnetic patterns

Overall the colors need to be applied twice in order to get better quality effect. personally, i prefers the colors from the first collection while i like the magnet pattern from the 2nd collection. lolx.

Applying the magnetic effect is very tricky since you need to place the magnet on your nail in order to bring up the effect.

Nevertheless happy experimenting!!
